You have not been tax resident in Spain in any of the 5 previous years.
Your situation is one of these three: an employment contract with a Spanish company; remote work for a foreign employer with no office, subsidiary or branch in Spain; or a posting to Spain by your employer.
You are clear about your Spanish Social Security registration or your certificate of coverage (A1 or bilateral agreement).
You are not a shareholder or director of the company that pays you, or of any company in Spain.
You are not self-employed and do not invoice clients.
You have no stock options, RSUs or significant bonuses pending.
You are not a US citizen paid through your own LLC or S-corp.

Questions

Why is it so much cheaper than a law firm? ＋

Because you make the filing yourself and the service only takes simple cases that meet every criterion above. A firm’s fee covers representation before the tax agency, liability for the filing and complex cases; Guided filing includes none of that.

What if my situation changes halfway through? ＋

Tell us before you file. If your case no longer meets the criteria, we tell you in writing and it goes to a registered professional under their own quote. If that comes out in the initial review, you get a full refund.

Does it include the US side? ＋

No. It covers the Spanish Modelo 149 and the annual reminders. IRS obligations (FEIE or Foreign Tax Credit, FBAR, FATCA) are not included.

What happens if I make a mistake when filing? ＋

The review call before you submit exists precisely to catch mistakes in your data. You make the filing with your own credentials, so responsibility for what is submitted is yours.
